Professional Experience

Joel Jarratt serves as a Managing Director/Member within the Business Sollutions & Technology group at WG Consulting. He specializes in Business Intelligence, Enterprise Performance Management and Enterprise Resource Planning. Joel leads WG’s Enterprise Performance Management practice area which focuses on business intelligence and performance management and is dedicated to providing clients with advisory services around their financial information systems in order to enhance those clients’ internal and external reporting functions.  Joel has over 15 years of experience in both industry and professional services, including 4 years in public accounting with Deloitte & Touche and 4 years as an executive with a Houston-based international oilfield services company. Joel began his career in the assurance practice of Deloitte & Touche in Houston, Texas, leading and participating in financial audits of Fortune 500® companies as well as performing due diligence and attestation support surrounding SEC registration statements, private placement debt offerings, and technical accounting matters. He departed from Deloitte in 2002 and used his experience in SEC and financial reporting to assist clients with the development of internal management reporting processes utilizing Oracle®-based systems, advised on technical accounting matters, and assisted one of the world’s largest oilfield services companies in the completion of a complex financial restatement and re-listing on the NYSE.
